Packing Services: planning your move
Packing can take longer than expected, especially when you are sorting cupboards, preparing delicate items or moving a busy household. We assess requests for packing assistance in Glasgow and across Scotland, based on the belongings, location and time available.
You may need help with selected items or a larger packing task. Describe the number of rooms, the types of belongings and anything fragile or unusually shaped. Photographs can help explain the amount of preparation required.
Packing assistance and materials are included only where agreed. Before work is booked, we will discuss availability, the scope of the task, who supplies boxes and wrapping, and how packing fits around your moving date. An online moving estimate does not automatically include packing services or materials.
Agree the Packing Help You Need

Highlight fragile glassware, ornaments and other delicate items so suitable preparation can be assessed.

Keep medicines, valuables, important documents and anything you need during the journey outside the packing area. Sort belongings you intend to donate or leave behind before packing begins. Identify delicate items and avoid overloading boxes. Let us know about liquids or potentially hazardous materials so transport suitability can be checked before they are packed.

Are boxes and packing materials included?
Materials are included only if they are listed in your agreed quote. Confirm the quantity and type of boxes, wrapping and tape needed, and who will supply them before the appointment.
Can I request packing help for fragile items only?
Yes, you can enquire about selected belongings rather than a whole property. Describe the items and provide photographs where useful. We will assess the preparation required and confirm whether suitable assistance is available.
Can packing be arranged alongside my house removal?
Packing assistance can be discussed as part of your move, subject to availability and the work involved. Tell us before booking so the time, materials and agreed charges can be considered separately from transport.
